WyoTech-Laramie has been named to the 2009 President’s Higher Education Community Service Honor Roll for the third consecutive year.
The Honor Roll is the highest federal recognition a college or university can receive for its commitment to volunteering, service-learning and civic engagement, according to a press release.
“WyoTech-Laramie students and faculty logged over 15,000 volunteer hours in 2009,” said Guy Warpness, WyoTech-Laramie campus president. “Receiving this honor three consecutive years illustrates our continued commitment to the community.”
